Job Description

Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Cook position for the Support Services Department.

The primary location for this position is: Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll

Qualifications Required:

  • Cook Certificate or Red Seal Program certificate (license) preferred.
  • Current Food Handlers certificate required
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent acceptable to the Hospital.
  • Preference given to applicants with institutional cooking experience.
  • Able to do heavy lifting, repetitive motions and standing for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Established initiative and ability to work independently or as a team in a flexible manner.
  • Demonstrated excellent attendance record and work ethic.
  • Knowledge of computer software programs.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Other pertinent conditions:

  • Salary per UNIFOR collective agreement ($33.46 per hour to $34.19 per hour)
