Volunteer Job Description

Do you identify as being a part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community? Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County's PRISM Program is specifically designed to connect 2SLGBTQIA+ identifying youth and mentors. The PRISM (Pride, Respect, Identity, Safety & Mentoring) program offers one to one mentoring relationships where youth can connect with an adult who has lived the 2SLGBTQIA+ experience. There are also groups for youth on the waitlist where they can connect with other 2SLGBTQIA+ identifying youth through group activities in the community. The relationship will provide a child or youth with a safe space to explore their identities, create an empowering relationship with a mentor and connect to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Oxford County.
