Volunteer Job Description
JOIN THE WOODSTOCK HOSPITAL FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
We are currently seeking a dedicated and engaged individual to join the Woodstock Hospital Foundation (WHF) Board of Directors.
The WHF is a registered charity that has been serving the community since 1988. Our mission is to raise funds in support of equipment, technology and capital needs of the Woodstock Hospital through annual events and support from individuals in our community.

We Are Looking For:
We are currently looking to recruit a new board member who is passionate about our mission and brings a diversity of perspectives, skills, and experiences. We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in any of the following areas:
- Fundraising/Capital Campaign
- Business
- Finance/Accounting
- Legal expertise
- Marketing/Communications
Responsibilities of Board Members:
- Attend regular Monthly meetings held the third Tuesday of the month (except July, August and December)
- Provide oversight and strategic direction
- Ensure the organization complies with legal and ethical standards
- Support fundraising and community engagement efforts
- Serve on committees or task forces as needed
Time Commitment:
Approximately 2-3 hours per month, including meeting preparation and attendance, committee work, and event participation.
Term of Office:
The duration of each term is 3 years. Board members may serve a maximum of 3 terms. Appointment to the Board will commence on April 21, 2026
