Job Description

Are you a 310T, 310S, 425A or 421A licensed technician, and/or an unlicensed mechanic with experience and you are working on these licenses?  Or perhaps farming is a passion of yours and you'd like to pursue an apprenticeship?  Premier offers apprenticeship opportunities for employees looking to obtain their 425A license and we will subsidize the tuition at the John Deere Agricultural Technician program at Fanshaw College.

We currently have Ag Technician Apprentice opportunities available at various locations across Ontario.  Our locations are in:

Alliston

Ayr

Listowel

Ospringe

Elmira

Norwich 

Tavistock

Smithville 

Our apprentice program is a fast paced, dynamic opportunity for individuals who are looking to advance their career in the Ag industry.  This is a 3 year program where you will study advanced John Deere diesel engine, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, drive train, applied work practices and procedures...the list goes on!  

Premier Equipment is proud to be a part of the JD Tech Apprentice Program at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.  This program gives you an edge over traditional farm equipment apprenticeship program graduates.

Year 1:  4 months of school and 8 months of work

Year 2:  3 months of school and 9 months of work

Year 3:  3 months of school and 9 months of work
