Farm Overview History: The family roots trace back to the Netherlands before moving the farm to Canada in 1994.Herd Size: They milk around 500 cows (with a total herd near 1,000 Holstein cows) and raise all of their own replacement heifers. Technology: The operation utilizes 10 Lely A4 robotic milking systems to allow cows the freedom to choose when they are milked. Community Engagement: The farm has hosted large public events, such as the Farm & Food Care Ontario Breakfast on the Farm, welcoming visitors to learn modern agricultural practices.
