Woodstock Badminton Club

Woodstock Badminton Club
The Woodstock Badminton Club (WBC) is the longest serving recreational facility in Oxford County and can trace its roots back over 90 years. Originally a private facility for some of Woodstock’s families, the WBC changed to a non profit facility over time and helped spawn some of Canada’s greatest badminton athletes who went on to become Canadian champions and represented Canada at world badminton events such as the Pan-Am Games and the Olympics. Today the club serves a dual purpose in providing programming both for high level players and for recreational players in the sports of badminton and pickleball. The WBC continues to provide a facility that attracts players from up to 2 hours away and is widely regarded as one of the premier facilities for badminton in Southwestern Ontario.
