As a Cashier/Server at Johnny Greeko’s, you’ll be the face of our restaurant—welcoming guests, taking accurate orders, processing payments, and helping ensure every meal is served fast and fresh. You’ll keep service running smoothly by coordinating with the kitchen team and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. We’re looking for friendly, reliable team members who take pride in creating a great guest experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand completely and follows all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
• Maintains a clean image and provides superior guest service, strong knowledge of menu, takes orders by phone and at front counter, monitors online orders and calls guests as needed, communicates with delivery drivers, expedites orders and ensuring all items are given to guest, activates and redeems gift cards and updates real-time inventory, handles remedies, help coach new crew members on cash and is a proud brand ambassador. 
• Maintains strong knowledge of point of sale (POS) system and performs cash management responsibilities in compliance with all policies and procedures. 
• Achieves company objectives in sales, service, quality, cleanliness and appearance of the facility.
• Assists with dish washing and restaurant cleaning, as do all employees. 
• Maintains a collaborative relationship with fellow employees, management and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Have previous experience in a restaurant, retail, or a position involving customer service. 
• Possess excellent verbal communication with the ability to answer guest questions and suggest menu items.
• Be dependable, responsible, hard working and able to work in a fast-paced environment.     
• Be friendly, responsible, and a caring team player.
• Be dependable to open and close restaurant and arrive earlier or stay later to complete all tasks to set up the restaurant for success. 
   

Working Environment and Physical Demands:

Working conditions are normal for a restaurant environment. Work may involve lifting and moving of materials and product up to 30 pounds and standing for long periods of time. Working in this environment will involve being around and the use of machinery and equipment including but not limited to; different types of knives, salad spinner, can opener, scales, microwave, industrial mixer, ovens, vertical broiler, grill, flat top, fryer, steam table, pita table, walk-in cooler, freezer, sham, cleaning supplies, climb a ladder etc.

Wage: $16.60 - $19.60 per hour
