Job Description

Toyota Tsusho Canada Inc. is growing and is looking for Warehouse Team Members and Forklift Operators to join our team. This is position (12 Month Contract). As a Warehouse Team Member you will become an integral part of our warehouse working closely with the rest of the team to ensure daily orders are received, pick, packed, and shipped in a timely manner.

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?

  • Order picking ensuring highest quality and accuracy
  • Operating mobile equipment (forklift)
  • Daily use of RF scanners.
  • Ensure shipments are accurate and sent out in a timely manner.
  • Ensure receiving is accurate and performed in a timely manner.
  • Count inventory.
  • Perform cross-trained functions within work group as needed.
  • Follow health and safety standards.
  • Other duties as required.

Experience Required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You are willing to learn and apply Toyota Production System principles.
  • You are able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
  • You possess exceptional attention to detail and basic mathematical skills.
  • You possess strong interpersonal and team building skills.
  • You have at least 1 year of forklift experience, and a valid forklift license.
  • Warehouse experience is an asset, including the use of RFID Scanners.
  • You are able to successfully complete a criminal records check.
  • You are able to support daily overtime based on business conditions.
