Vuteq Canada is actively engaged in automotive parts manufacturing and design and currently supplies Interior and Exterior components to General Motors, Toyota Motor Manufacturing and Honda Motor Manufacturing. We are currently looking for a Human Resources and Events Coordinator to join our team! 

The Human Resources and Events Coordinator support and assists with administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. Ensure adherence to Vuteq’ s Corporate Social Responsibilities including, but not limited to, charitable donations and community involvement. This individual is responsible for supporting all human resource activities, company and social committee events. Accepting projects from the Sr. Human Resource Coordinator. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Community involvement; supporting team member engagement activities
  • Corporate social responsibilities – charity donations and team member events
  • Promote health & wellness initiatives
  • Lead Round Table Meeting activity monthly 
  • Setting up Salary Engagement nights for new salary team members
  • Set up General Meetings and Goals and Objectives Meetings
  • Lead company yearly events, (Leadership Dinner, Salary Dinner, etc.)
  • Support Social Committee events
  • Writing of discipline letters and confirm first and second verbal’s for leadership
  • Support monthly KPI’s for absenteeism
  • Administrative tasks
  • Support HR Manager & Human Resources Team as required, always maintaining confidentiality
  • Support employee relations and escalate concerns
  • Lead Newsletter, Summer and Christmas Card activity
  • Support and maintain environmental initiatives that reduce waste, energy consumption, and operational impact
  • Ensure team member compliance with all environmental regulations, policies and industry standards.

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

Education

  • College diploma/University degree an asset

  • CHRP designation considered an asset

Experience

  • Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

  • Ability to speak effectively before large groups of customers or employees of organization

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units or measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule

 

Other

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range:$55,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually
