We’re looking for a Sales Supervisor to lead a team of Sales Representatives, spark performance, build confidence, and help create an engaging, goal-driven culture where people can do their best work and celebrate success along the way.

Position Details:

  • Woodstock, Ontario
  • Full-Time, Permanent
  • On-Site Hybrid
  • Hours of work:
    • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Ability to work flexible hours outside of regular office hours may be required
  • Possibility of some evenings and weekends to participate in leadership, business development, and supervisory activities and to manage the extended queue hours

Responsibilities:

  • In cooperation with the Sales Manager, you will set performance goals and objectives. You will maintain a high level of engagement with the sales team, consistently monitoring progress, providing formal and informal feedback, and coaching representatives toward performance excellence.
  • Maintain high levels of motivation, professionalism, skill set discipline and morale through coaching – you will develop and maintain a team with a strong sales culture
  • Call quality monitoring of staff. Conduct regular call reviews to assess communication effectiveness, discovery and needs assessment skills, product knowledge, objection handling, sales techniques, accuracy of information provided, and overall customer engagement.
  • Ensure frequent and clear communication with the representatives so they are knowledgeable on current marketing goals and sales strategies via weekly sales meetings
  • Handle customer escalations and utilize escalations as a method to train and develop the team
  • Identify and control customer service issues through problem management, tracking and resolution
  • Lead by example. You’ll be expected to jump in as needed to meet the demands of our customers as well as actively participate in a variety of team projects and initiatives
  • Work directly with your team to reach predefined sales goals
  • Ensure the team uses the CRM effectively to build and maintain their sales funnel
  • Respond to escaluations from customer inquiries, requests and complaints
  • Provide information and reports, as required, to inform your Sales Manager of progress and success
  • Make recommendations on new programs, policies and procedures that will result in the continuous improvement of current processes for the benefit of customers and the company
  • Help build and determine sales campaigns
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

HR Responsibilities:

  • Hire/Onboarding/Train/Retain
  • Together with the Sales Manager, set KPIs, consistently monitor and provide formal and informal feedback to all team members
  • Conduct regularly scheduled team meetings
  • Develop and execute individual coaching plans including regularly scheduled 1:1s and interaction reviews (in-person, telephone, video, email)
  • Conduct Performance Reviews and Employee Performance Improvement Plan (EPIP) meetings as required
  • Document performance, attendance or behavioural issues; ensuring timely appropriate resolution to the concern up to and including termination as guided by Management and HR
  • Approval of timesheets/vacation/time off requests in alignment with company policies
  • Completion of variable compensation
  • Completion of HR forms
  • Direct Reports: Sales Representatives

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience, leading commission based Sales Representatives; experience within a contact centre setting considered an asset
  • Experience creating sales campaigns, and analyzing sales results
  • Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a Windows PC environment, combined with demonstrated keyboarding and data entry abilities; above average skills within the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • University Degree or College Diploma, with a focus in business preferred
  • Valid Class G Driver’s Licence and your own reliable vehicle
