Project Administrator - VTCA 

 Vuteq Technical Center Americas is a Sales and Engineering service provider representing Vuteq and Diversity Vuteq manufacturing groups throughout North America. The Vuteq group of companies is actively engaged in automotive parts manufacturing and design and currently supplies Interior and Exterior components to General Motors, Toyota Motor Manufacturing and Honda Motor Manufacturing. This is an 18-month maternity leave coverage position for a Project Administrator to join our team! 

Job Description

 The Project Administrator will be a key member of the team and will work directly with the Project Management department to ensure all required documentation, forms, surveys, etc. are up to date and maintained. The Project Administrator will be responsible for other administrative duties, as required.

Position Description 

  • Assist with printing engineering drawings and schematic diagrams
  • Track and monitor customer supplier portal orders and requests
  • Prepare graphs or charts of data or enters data for analysis, as required
  • Organizes up-to-date records in accordance with the IATF requirements related to VTCA document control
  • Support the organization of electronic files and folders
  • Support document preparation for Project Management department
  • Review and monitor orders from customer portals and update corresponding team member(s) and manufacturing plant(s) to ensure proper fulfillment
  • Daily checks for surveys and various other requests in customer portals. Send to VTCA Project Coordinators and corresponding Vuteq manufacturing facility to ensure completion on time
  • Support VTCA Project Coordinators by following up with Vuteq manufacturing plants on upcoming deliverables
  • Responsible to support the VTCA team as required 
     

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

Qualifications 


 Education

  • Successful completion of a 2-3 year Project Management diploma/degree from a college/university, considered an asset.

  • Completion of Project Management certification (ie SPMP) considered an asset


Experience

  • 1 - 2 years of experience with project management related activities

  • 1 – 2 years of related administrative experience

  • 1 - 2 years of experience scheduling and planning resources

  • 1 – 2 years of Microsoft Office experience

 Skills and Abilities

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and detail orientation when producing data and reports 

  • Ability to adapt to changing demands of production and team member issues 

  • Actively listen to fellow team members about concerns or issues that arise

  • Ability to effectively manage a small/large group of professionals to achieve shared due dates and objectives

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to speak in front of groups of people, and ability to effectively communicate information with varying levels of individuals (both team members and management groups)

  • Ability to show versatility and resourcefulness when problem solving

  • Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines and importance of tasks

  • Manage time efficiently while working on several different tasks at once

Other

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Must be able and willing to travel; and able to obtain valid Passport

 

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range:$50,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually
