Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and experienced Hobby Farm Labourer to assist with the daily operations of our hobby farm. This position involves caring for livestock, maintaining farm buildings and equipment, operating machinery, and performing general property maintenance. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions, and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient farm environment.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of previous farm labour experience is required.
  • Only applicants with prior farm work experience will be considered.
  • Experience caring for livestock, including poultry and other farm animals.
  • Experience operating tractors, mowers, and other farm equipment safely.
  • Strong understanding of farm safety procedures and general equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Basic mechanical and repair skills are considered a strong asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation starts at minimum wage and ranges up to $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The final hourly rate will be determined after the interview process. This is a hands-on role best suited for an experienced farm worker who values stable, consistent employment in a rural setting.

Wage Details

$18 - $20 per hour
