Job Description

 

Summary of Position:

The paint and bodywork technician is primarily responsible for disassembly and reassembly, sandblasting, bodywork and painting of agricultural and industrial equipment

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

            Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  1. Pressure washing equipment
  2. Disassembling and reassembly of equipment
  3. Sandblasting parts
  4. Completing bodywork as required
  5. Completing painting 
  6. Using chemicals and paints as needed to perform tasks.
  7. Operating tools needed to perform tasks.
  8. Ensuring paperwork/ work orders are completed properly and handed in 
  9. Ensuring time cards are completed properly
  10. Adhering to workplace safety regulations and policies
  11. Driving agricultural and industrial equipment
  12. Preforming other duties as required

 

Education:

            High school or equivalent

 

Requirements:

  1. Sandblasting
  2. Auto body Repair
  3. Painting – Industrial
  4. Experience driving agricultural and industrial equipment
  5. Experience detailing 
  6. Experience pressure washing
  7. Strong aptitude with paperwork
  8. Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
  9. Strong communication skills.

 

Work conditions:

  1. Working indoors and out
  2. Exposure to various weather conditions.
  3. Working with paint and chemical fumes

 

Compensation:

            Depending on experience.
