Job Description
Servers
Responsibilities
• Take and serve drink orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring prompt delivery to guests
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and offering recommendations
• Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, including cashiering and cash handling duties
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables or bar patrons simultaneously while maintaining quality service
• Assist in food service when needed, including serving food items and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Host
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar software
- Provide menus and answer initial questions about the restaurant offerings
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and service flow
- Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, taking reservations or providing information as needed
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit and address any concerns promptly
- Support the team during busy periods by managing guest flow and ensuring timely seating
Education
Experience Required
Employer willing to train. Server positions will be required to complete Smart Serve certification (must meet minimum age requirement of 18 yrs of age)
