Job Description

Employer works on residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural sites.  Their primary job is to install and maintain, alarm systems, access control systems and camera systems

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

  1. No experience needed, on the job training and specialty training is provided.  However, common sense is a must.
  2. A basic understanding of electronics and the ability to learn on the go.
  3. Ability to work at heights, cannot be afraid of being on a ladder, or on an elevated platform.
  4. Able to work unsupervised.
  5. Know how to operate power tools, such as a Drill, Grinder, etc.
  6. Know the difference between a Robertson Screwdriver and a Phillips.
  7. Able to communicate well and be articulate with clients. (they have hundreds of clients, and have many daily interactions with them)
  8. Able to take direction and complete a task given.
  9. "G" license required. Vehicle is NOT required. We provide transportation and if they have difficulty getting to the shop, we can pick them up, within reason.
  10. Bondable, trustworthy.
  11. Desire to build a career, not just a job.
  12. Tools and equipment are supplied; you only need work safety boots.
  13. Occasional night and weekend work may be required.
  14. Night work comes with premium pay.

Compensation and Benefits

  1. Wage will be discussed during the interview. Average starting salary is 20.00/hr 40hrs a week, but up to 60hrs a week during large projects.  Pay raises are directly influenced by performance.
