Dispatcher

Successful candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a a CAN-DO attitude.  

Duties to include but not limited to:

Answer telephone and emails promptly

Organize and assign daily deliveries and pick ups

Coordinate drivers

Day to Day communications via telephone, text, email and in person with an assigned fleet of drivers to ensure proper load instructions are passed on and carried out.

Plan efficient driving routes and assign deliveries and pick ups to drivers based on location and priority. 

Strategically plan and assign trucks to load for delivery and pick up for various locations across Ontario

Closely monitor on-time movement of all customer loads

Minimum 2 years experience in dispatch preferred

Communication skills (both verbal and written)

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work independently

Strong problem solving skills

Forklift experience would be an asset
