Job Description

Responsible for repairing and maintaining forklift equipment
Identifying mechanical problems and performing repairs
Performing regular maintenance on forklifts, including changing fluids and replacing parts
Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
Responding to emergency repair needs and working efficiently to minimize downtime
Ordering and maintaining inventory of parts and supplies needed for repairs
Ensuring that all forklifts are in compliance with safety regulations
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on various types of forklifts.
Willing to do jobs in other departments not related to forklift mechanic’s.

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

Experience in mechanical repair on forklifts required
