About the Role:
This hybrid hospitality role provides critical operational support to our Food Services Manager during high-volume dining events, community functions, and private banquets. The role balances active kitchen dishwashing and sanitation tasks with light event layout assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate our commercial high-volume dish pit to maintain clean dining inventory during events.
  • Provide basic kitchen prep assistance (chopping, plating, organization) under the direction of the Chef/Manager.
  • Help maintain overall kitchen workspace sanitization, clearing floors, and discarding waste safely.
  • Assist with setting up buffet lines, serving guests, and clearing tables as required by the event footprint.

Experience Required

Qualifications:

  • Hardworking team player with a positive attitude in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to stand for extended windows and manage physical labor (lifting racks, carrying heavy trays).
  • Kitchen experience & reliability necessary
  • Ontario Safe Food Handlers or Smart Serve certification is considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $18.00 – $19.00 / hour (Student rates may apply)
