About the Role:
This role serves as the friendly public face of the South Gate Centre during our evening and weekend operations. It is responsible for greeting visitors, handling incoming phone calls, checking in active members, and completing basic point-of-sale transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet members, guests, and rental clients warmly as they enter the facility.
• Answer telephone inquiries, route messages accurately, and provide general centre programming information.
• Process membership registration renewals and drop-in fees using our point-of-sale (POS) terminal.
• Maintain the security and cleanliness of the front reception lobby space.

Status: Part-Time (Evenings and Weekends)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service, front desk, or retail reception role.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, community-oriented approach.
• Strong Cash handling skills
• Basic computer literacy and comfort operating a standard POS cash register system

Compensation: $18.00 – $19.00 / hour
