POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Waste Management Coordinator, works in the landfill scale house. Greets customers, advises on rules, weighs vehicles, collects required data and fees.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 10 or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the geography of the County of Oxford and of the County’s waste management programs. 
  • Basic knowledge of computers, related software and basic equipment repairs.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable to working conditions which will entail outdoor functions in a rural setting.
  • Reliable transportation to work required.
