Job Description
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts into the machine
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and productivity
- Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
Education
Experience Required
Proficiency in operating CNC machines and related equipment
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks software for programming CNC machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements using various tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Note: Experience in assembly is a plus.
