Experienced Overhead Door Service Technician

VDK Group is currently seeking to hire an Experienced Overhead Door Service Technician for both our residential and commercial overhead door departments. Job Details:

• New construction and replacement installations of automatic and manual overhead doors in both commercial and residential applications
• Replacements of existing overhead doors and/or panels
• Service on existing overhead doors
• Determining issues on-site with installation or product (Strong problem-solving skills are required)
• Reporting to management to make sure correct parts are ordered to repair issues
• Operating and maintaining power tools and hand tools
• Work efficiently as part of a team to complete daily tasks and assignments

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years experience installing/ servicing overhead doors
• 1-2 years general construction experience is an asset
• Must have a valid G class driver's license
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• WHMIS, Working at Heights, and Manlift Training is an asset.
