Job Summary:
The Process Technician will be accountable for coaching, mentoring, and leading machine operators in their daily activities. This includes offering technical support, enhancing operator work instructions, conducting training sessions as needed, troubleshooting, and setting up machines when necessary. Additionally, they will oversee machine ramp-ups after the setup procedure.
Responsibilities:
- Support programming and tooling issues - 3 shift support required
- Responsible for the development, maintain, and improve work instructions
- Coach, mentor and train operators
- Trouble shoot machine issues
- Support training on re-running of tools and parts, gauging, machine operation
Education
Experience Required
- Licenced CNC Machinist or related technical training 5+ year related experience (lathe machines)
- Proven ability to lead a team of CNC Operators
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Experience with MasterCam or any other CAD/CAM software
- Excellent communication skills
