Objective Engineering Inc., a results-based entrepreneurial engineering firm is growing and on the lookout for a Junior Engineering Technologist. Our areas of expertise include Structural Engineering, Fabrication knowledge and support, Steel Connections, Industrial and Commercial building design with steel, concrete, masonry and aluminum.

 

Your Role:

  • Prepare structural and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
  • Conduct Ontario Building Code reviews, ensuring compliance and excellence.
  • Coordinate projects to meet deadlines, budgets, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work independently and under pressure, contributing to our dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Work in office and on-site (includes travel and working outdoors).

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

  • A desire to learn and grow.
  • Strong independent learning skills and quick adaptability.
  • Proficiency in English, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to ask questions and be aware of personal and technical limitations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College diploma in Architectural Technology or Civil Engineering Technology or similar.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills, experience with 3D CADD (Solidworks preferred).
  • Familiarity with the 2012 Ontario Building Code.
  • Possess a valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
