Objective Engineering Inc., a results-based entrepreneurial engineering firm is growing and on the lookout for a Junior Engineering Technologist. Our areas of expertise include Structural Engineering, Fabrication knowledge and support, Steel Connections, Industrial and Commercial building design with steel, concrete, masonry and aluminum.

Your Role:

Prepare structural and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
Conduct Ontario Building Code reviews, ensuring compliance and excellence.
Coordinate projects to meet deadlines, budgets, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Work independently and under pressure, contributing to our dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Work in office and on-site (includes travel and working outdoors).

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

Strong independent learning skills and quick adaptability.
Proficiency in English, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
Able to ask questions and be aware of personal and technical limitations.

Preferred Qualifications:

College diploma in Architectural Technology or Civil Engineering Technology or similar.
Strong AutoCAD skills, experience with 3D CADD (Solidworks preferred).
Familiarity with the 2012 Ontario Building Code.
Possess a valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
