Objective Engineering Inc., a results-based entrepreneurial engineering firm is growing and on the lookout for a Junior Structural Engineer. Our areas of expertise include Structural Engineering, Fabrication knowledge and support, Steel Connections, Industrial and Commercial building design with steel, concrete, masonry and aluminum.

 

Your Role:

  • Perform structural design and oversee the implementation of structural engineering projects by conceptualizing and creating solutions based on project requirements and company standards.
  • Coordinate projects to meet deadlines, budgets, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work independently and under pressure, contributing to our dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Work in office and on-site (includes travel and working outdoors).

Education

Bachelor Degree

Experience Required

  • Exercise sound engineering practices & principles.  
  • Make decisions independently regarding projects and engineering.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Working towards a Registered P. Eng. with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
  • Ability to prepare CADD drawings in AutoCAD; SolidWorks and FEA experience preferred.
  • In depth knowledge of the OBC, Ontario Construction and Industrial Regulations.
  • Possess a valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
