What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot two and four stroke marine engines and powersports equipment.
- Build, mount, PDI & repair two and four stroke marine engines and powersports equipment.
- Remove and replace engine components as necessary on powersports and marine vehicles.
- Perform preventive and regular maintenance, according to manufacturer specifications.
- Compose repair estimates for internal and external customers.
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services.
- Prepare list of required parts and labor times for each job.
- Safely and effectively operate shop and diagnostic tools.
Explain diagnostic test results to Service Manager, and if necessary, the customer. - Perform test rides well as any other necessary tests.
- Document inspections, test results and work performed or to be performed as well as hours worked on customer work orders.
- Ability to work on snowmobile, ATV and other recreational vehicles. (Asset)
- Maintain an efficient and tidy work area.
- Ability to install and test marine accessories and fishing electronics.
- Perform battery disconnects, winterization and summer commissioning of boats.
- Maintain manufacturer certification as required.
- Must follow all safety rules and guidelines, as determined by management.
- Ensure high levels of Customer Service.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education
Experience Required
What We’d Like From You
- Candidates MUST have a deep interest and passion for riding and understanding of Marine, outboards, boats and PWCs.
- Clean Driver’s License and Boat license is a MUST.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Work environment involves occupational hazards associated with working in a garage.
- Standing/Walking for periods of up to 10 hours.
- Lifting and/or carrying of parts and other merchandise, as required, on a regular basis.
- Understand and acknowledge weekly Service Department Goals and Targets
- Actively pursue to meet and exceed the weekly targets
