Who We Are

15 Years ago, The Power Garage started out as a small family run motorcycle dealership. We have since grown into a multi-dimensional outdoors store. We are a one stop shop for all recreational enthusiasts. Helping families create memories is our core goal. We are looking for passionate team members who are hard working and looking to join a fast-paced retail environment. Customer experience and service is our number one priority.

 

What You Bring to the Role

What You’ll Do

  • Assist walk in customers & service technicians in identifying and selecting the correct powersport parts and accessories.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, offering product recommendations, and resolving any issues or concerns.
  • Process customer orders and handle cash transactions.
  • Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Organize and maintain pre-pulled/ordered parts for service department.
  • Engaging with customers through multiple communication channels, including face-to-face, telephone, email, and web-based platforms 
  • Participate in all Retail Consumer shows, client events, and “Demo Day” events.
  • Utilizing cutting-edge tools like parts fiche, web-based programs, and catalogues to assist clients with their needs.
  • Maintaining attractive inventory levels on our sales floor and eye-catching wall displays
  • Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively pass information between vendors, technicians, and other service personnel.
  • Proficient and accurate computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
  • Keep working area clean and organized.
  • Assist with ordering of parts to suppliers.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

What We’d Like From You

  • Candidates MUST have a deep interest and passion for riding and understanding of Marine, outboards, boats and PWCs. 
  • Clean Driver’s License is a MUST. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Work environment involves occupational hazards associated with working in a garage. 
  • Standing/Walking for periods of up to 8 hours. 
  • Lifting and/or carrying of parts and other merchandise, as required, on a regular basis.
  • Understand and acknowledge weekly Parts Department Goals and Targets
  • Actively pursue to meet and exceed the weekly targets.

Wage Details

$19 - $25 per hour
