Job Description
- Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations
- Communicate with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- May perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Must be able to work from drawings and sketches, read and understand manuals/specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions
Education
Experience Required
- 1 -2 years Welding Mig/Tig experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- CWB not required, capable of MIG/TIG welding. Must be able to pass internal weld test.
- Work with their hands, lifting and moving large pieces of metal, and stand for hours at a time, all of which requires physical strength and stamina.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be organized, proactive and maintain a positive attitude in the work place.
