Job Description

Stubbe’s started as a small precast company catering to the agricultural market and have since grown into a diversified company offering a wide range of concrete-related products and services.
Positions available in Harley, ON ( between Brantford and Woodstock)
Straight shifts available in our plants
Dayshift 6am-5pm Monday-Friday
Nightshift 5pm-5am Monday-Friday + $3.50hr shift premium!
Your Day to Day:
- Work in an organized and safe manner according to the Occupational Health & Safety Act and company policies
- Work according to Stubbe’s quality control standards
- Operate specialized concrete fabrication equipment including, overhead crane, forklift/pay loader, and other various (power) tools
- Assemble hardware according to procedures and drawing specifications
- Load precast concrete components using proper stacking methods
- Install cages and pull strand before tensioning
- Place, vibrate, and finish concrete
Expectations for the Role:
- Engage in a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment - similar to a construction site but indoors
- Repetitive tasks that involve heavy lifting, with the ability to lift and manipulate objects weighing up to 80lbs
- Demonstrate manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Operate equipment to move product
- Set up, adjust, and operate specialized machinery to mix, drill, grind, and cut concrete according to specific requirements
- Place reinforcing rods or wire mesh in molds and pour concrete from suspended buckets into molds
- Demold castings and finish surfaces of castings using screening or troweling techniques
- Adapt to additional duties as needed to support operational requirements
