Runback Curling is a leading provider of high-quality, custom curling apparel, dedicated to outfitting curling teams around the globe with unique and personalized designs. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, craftsmanship, and passion for the sport of curling.

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Designer to join our team. As an Apparel Graphic Designer at Runback, you will play a pivotal role in creating captivating logos and designs for curling teams worldwide. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for both graphic design and curling to showcase their talents and contribute to the success of our brand.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare files for sublimation production
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure accuracy of printed apparel
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and design requirements for uniforms
  • Design unique logos and artwork that reflects the identity and personality of each client
  • Create and maintain brand guidelines & training manuals
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create content for promoting the brand
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Other design related tasks as needed

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Graphic Design
  • Highly proficient in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc)
  • Able to create interesting and creative designs
  • Portfolio of work
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying mistakes (both written and graphically)
  • Able to Interact with clients in a professional manner
  • A passion for the sport of curling and a solid understanding of it’s culture and aesthetics
  • Experience with photography, videography, motion graphics, and video editing is a plus
