Job Description

Bender Contracting Inc is currently hiring Construction Workers to assist with agricultural construction projects.. Come join our dedicated and skilled team today.  Permanent or summer positions available.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all phases of construction projects; including framing and erecting walls, securing roof trusses, installation of windows, doors, insulation bats, interior wall panels, exterior steel siding, steel roofs, etc.
  • Perform basic carpentry, measuring and cutting materials, using power tools such as circular saw, table saw, air nailers, etc
  • Load and unload lumber, building materials, equipment and tools when required to set up and clean up site

Not Applicable

Experience Required

- Prior experience in construction is preferred but not required.

- Ability to use power tools safely and efficiently.

- Must have a valid Driver’s Licence and your own transportation to the job sites (mostly in the Tavistock & Hickson agricultural areas)

- Must have a positive attitude, willingness to learn new skills and work well within a friendly team setting.
