YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM
Acting as an expert of the shipping, and reporting to the logistic leader, the Shipper is responsible for loading and unloading trucks. He/She follow the storage layout in order to bring or to pick up the pallets at the right position and doing his/her job the best manner. He/she is responsible for the quality (On time, In full) of the loading of finished goods to the customers and guarantees the reliability of the preparation quality before shipment.
Although he/she involved in the global performance of the plant and is a support to the other departments.

THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU
• Ensuring the reception and transfer of raw materials and finished products;
• loading/unloading trucks
• Order picking as assigned using FIFO
• Daily pre-shift inspections of assigned lifting equipment and report any hazardous situations
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
• Communicate shipment discrepancies or errors to the logistic leader
• Conduct any repacking activities that may arise
• Suggesting solutions to improve work processes;
• Ensuring accuracy of shipments received from suppliers and products picked up by customers
• Organizing the warehouses in a clean, effective and safe manner
• Enforcing health and safety rules, follow adequate training in conjunction with the safety department to ensure compliance with safety regulations

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Your background:
• Mathematical aptitude
Your knowledge:
• Shipping and Receiving: 1 year (required)
• Experience in receiving of merchandise and barcoding (an asset)
• Experience of WMS system (an asset)
• Fork lift licence

Your know-how and your interpersonal skills:
• Positive attitude;
• Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately
• Sense of responsibility and judgment, thoroughness, and autonomy;
• Ability to manage large variations in the workload;
• Highly dependable, narrow and accurate
• Good relationship and customer-oriented
• Feeling as a part of a team,

The details of your position:
• Available on-call outside regular working hours
• Ability to work inside and outside a building

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Good physical condition
• Ability to lift up to 80lb
