Brickhouse Brewpub (a division of Upper Thames Brewing Company) is on the hunt for an enthusiastic individual to join their kitchen staff as a cook. Our focus is on providing their guests with an unforgettable dining experience in a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. Their menu features high-quality, beer-infused pub fare.     

Requirements for this position include;

• Proven experience as line cook, required
• Food safety certification, health & safety awareness required (training provided, if needed)
• A valid candidates experience includes but is not limited to;
• Preparation of simple pub food menu items in a timely fashion, following menu specifications
• Prep of large batch recipes
• Knife skills, experience working with fryer, grill and cold stations
• Experience with board calling, an asset
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients and procedures.
• Stocking stations, prep for service
• Able to work independently, without direct supervision
• Maintain a professional and positive working relationship with coworkers and customers
• Maintain a clean, food safe working kitchen environment
• Able to prioritize, be organized and following direction.
