Job Description

Sunova Implement Ltd. is a long established farm equipment dealership, specializing in Forage Harvesting, that has an established reputation for exceptional service built on our business principles of ethics and integrity.  We are also the importer and North American distributor for the Jan Veenhuis line of agricultural trailers. At Sunova we understand that farming is hard work and that our customers need the toughest and most reliable equipment to get the job done right.    
We are currently looking for a Trailer Assembly Technician to join our team  Job Description: Sunova Implement is seeking a Trailer Assembly Technician who is self-motivated, able to work independently, can work to high quality standards, pay close attention to detail and work in a team-oriented environment. In-house training can be provided to successful candidates depending on experience.
• Assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies 
• Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products 
• Assemble or connect electrical components 
• Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly 
• Connect cables, tubes and wires 
• Fasten parts together using fastening and joining equipment 
• Operate small cranes to transport or position larger parts 
• Inspect finished products for proper functioning 
• Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning 
• Test and check electrical assemblies and wiring for proper connection 
• Make minor adjustments and repairs 
• Read and interpret blueprints 
• Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications
