Job Description

VDK Commercial Glazing provides a comprehensive range of custom designed systems including but not limited to curtain wall, punch windows, storefront and structural glass that address specific project requirements for residential and commercial buildings. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Aluminum Window Assembler/ Fabricator.

Duties: Lay out, fabricate, assemble, and caulk aluminum curtainwall, storefronts, windows, doors, etc.
Measure, cut and drill aluminum extrusions.
Operate machines and tools as needed.
Inspect aluminum for various quality flaws.
Assist with loading and offloading.
Deliver products to job sites as needed.
Perform other duties as required.
Assist and support project management to ensure continuity between tender, construction, and project completion.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Experience Required

The successful candidate will possess:

Ability to read, understand and explain architectural plans, construction drawings and tender documentation.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Requires an agreeable personality with a strong sense of being part of a team.
Must possess a professional manner in both written and verbal communication.
Ability to multi-task prioritize and manage time efficiently.
