Job Description

VDK Group is an industry leading company in our area in the Windows, Doors, and Garage Doors sector of the construction industry. With a fantastic production team in our factory, and highly skilled installers in the field we are able to uphold this reputation. We work on a large variety of projects, ranging from custom-homes to mid-rise commercial projects. To meet the needs of our growing company, VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking a versatile and talented full-time Full Stack Software Developer who is passionate about developing high-quality software solutions to automate and streamline business processes.
Responsibilities:
Working with other software developers to take product ideas from concept to release
Operate at all levels of the stack - front-end code that drives the user interface/experience to backend business logic and architecture
Design, develop, test, document, and deploy new software products & features

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

Qualifications:
Proficiency with PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with PHP MVC Frameworks and JS frontend frameworks an asset
Proven experience in the development of flexible and scalable web-based applications
Practical mindset and results-driven
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
Self-motivated to succeed while working in a team-orientated environment
You love your craft and have a curiosity and passion to constantly learn new things
