Job Description
VDK Group is currently seeking a full-time, detail oriented, professional spray painter/Prepper to join their growing team.
Responsibilities Include:
· Prepare, prime, sand and paint different materials including steel and fiberglass
· Mix paint, colour match, and prepare customer samples upon request
· Meet and maintain standards to provide high quality finishes on VDK Entry Door systems
· Clean and maintain work area & equipment
· Maintain a paint schedule and meet dead-lines for jobs to be painted
· Perform other paint/stain related duties as required by Production Manager
Education
Experience Required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with staining is an asset
- Ability to identify different colours and ensure consistency
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with frequently changing dynamics
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to listen to instruction and work well independently
- At least 1 year painting experience preferred
