Job Description
Reporting to the Materials Manager, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and expediting of material to meet customer orders. The ideal candidate will hold a CPIM designation and have 5-7 years' previous experience scheduling and prioritizing production activities in a metal manufacturing environment while maintaining proper inventory control and management.
The ideal candidate has the ability to determine and prioritize production requirements by analysing customer demand and monitors and maintains inventory levels as required while planning raw material deliveries to meet the production schedule. They are a good communicator who works well in a team environment and demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
Experience in cycle counts, physical inventory process, as well as SAP would be an asset.
