Attendant, Warehouse - Tavistock

 

Overview of the Role

Reporting to the Bulk Warehouse Supervisors, the Attendant, Warehouse is responsible for picking and restocking product, ordering, receiving and shipping loads, handling bulk product, cleaning and other duties in accordance with the standards and safety objectives established by Senior Management of the company.  

 

Schedule:

Position 1: Wednesday to Friday 6pm - 6am

Position 2: Rotating Flex, must be available for all shifts.

Salary:

$24.95/hr

There are two salary increases in the first year of employment after 3 months of service, with a target rate of $26.25/hr

How you will make contributions that matter:

Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and GMPs to ensure the highest quality product possible

Safely transport raw materials, finished products and equipment manually or by using powered equipment

Use Maestro and SAP to accurately maintain inventory levels

Ship and receive loads, organize and consolidate stock

Ensure safe conditions exist always within the work environment  

Comply with Health & Safety, HACCP, and company policies

Report quality, food safety, health and safety incidents (within or beyond their control) to appropriate departments as necessary.

 

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

Previous Material Handling experience is an asset

Will hold, or be prepared to complete, forklift operator certification.

Working knowledge of computers and related devices (SAP, Maestro, RF scanners, etc).

Demonstrate communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.

Must be self-motivated, results oriented and work well with minimal supervision.

Strong team orientation.

Must be available to work all shifts (Days and Nights)
