Job Description

  • Successful candidate will participate in the operation of bending and shaping metal parts in our manufacturing plant on our Brake Press
  • Comfortable with reading and interpreting blueprints and executing the final product as required, follow verbal instructions
  • Ensure all safety controls are in place
  • Safely load and unload machine throughout the shift
  • Capable of using other precision tools such as; caliper, measuring tape, height gauges, form gauges and templates
  • Must practice safe lifting and work procedures at all times
  • Participate in Company 5S program by maintaining workstation cleanliness
  • Assist in other duties as required
  • This is a day shift position (Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30am) (40 hour work week)

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

  • 6–12 months experience in a brake press/manufacturing environment is a definite asset
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Must have good math skills
  • Ability to work with fellow team members and also individually as required
  • Must demonstrate quality and attention to work details
  • Can follow written and verbal instructions
  • Shows exceptional people skills with a ‘can do’ attitude

Has excellent attention to details along with great physical and mental capacity
