Job Description

The Production Line Operator's responsibilities are to run and maintain fillers and other related equipment.  Will be responsible for quality, food safety and product specifications.

Key Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                   

*Clean, set-up, operate and monitor infeed and packaging equipment of the production lines.                           

*Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks.                                 

*Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.             

*Collect required samples needed for quality control/assurance testing.                                   

*Will set-up machinery using computer controlled equipment.                                                     

*Must be able to multi-task and be proactive in efficiently completing work.           

*Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.                                                                         

*Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.             

Education

GED

Experience Required

 Qualifications:                                                                                                                                             

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.         
  • Production experience required, preferably in a food and beverage industry. 
  • Experienced at analyzing process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.         
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.           
  • Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend which is required virtually the entire shift. 
  • Will frequently lift and or move 10kg and occasionally lift and or move more than 30kg. 
  • Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
