Job Description
- Experience and ability in using creative ways of providing support to people in a range of community involvement and life situations
- Experience and ability to provide positive systems support to people with behavioral self-management plans
- Experience and ability to plan and monitor behavioral interventions
- Experience and ability to facilitate, develop and support person centered planning, on-going development and evaluation
- Ability to flexible and accommodating with work hours
- Excellent written, verbal and listening skills
- Experience and accuracy with medication policy and dispensing medications
- Experience advocating for proper medical interventions and social inclusion
- Current First Aid and NVCI
- Valid driver’s license and reliable car to use for work
- Good attendance will be recognized
- Prior experience in snow removal and grounds maintenance work, an asset.
- Mechanically inclined, with the ability to operate and perform routine equipment
maintenance.
- Knowledge of municipal bylaws.
- Strong working knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Must be able to perform heavy physical labour.
- Must be willing to take training and obtain certifications, as may be required.
- Must be adaptable to work a flex schedule.
- Overseeing/supporting and training individual in industrial setting including using saws, lift truck, tracking inventory, etc
