Job Description
-Provide ongoing supports to a wide variety of individuals who are supported by Community Living Tillsonburg. Supports will include community involvement opportunities, recreational/leisure activities and educational opportunities.
- This may involve following through on person centered plans, creative problem solving, fostering independence, provide knowledge and training in area such as life skills, education, social skills and safety awareness.
Education
Experience Required
Post-secondary Degree/Diploma in Social/Human Service discipline.
-Ability to use creative ways of supporting individual and enhancing their lives.
- Experience assisting people to participate in their communities. (recreational activities, social activities, educational activities)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with people with an intellectual disability is an asset.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
