Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, restoring, and renovating structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Brick Mason Foreman will work both independently and as part of a team to oversee and deliver high-quality craftsmanship on various projects.
Duties
- Construct walls, arches, and other structures using bricks and blocks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Use hand tools for precise masonry work, including cutting and shaping materials.
- Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged masonry.
- Caulk joints and seams to ensure durability and weather resistance.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
Education
Experience Required
Experience
- Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to over see and direct labourers
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, hand tools, power tools, and masonry techniques.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
- Experience in building, restoring, or renovating structures is highly desirable.
- G Driver’s license with access to reliable transportation
