Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, including the ability to build, restore, and renovate structures using bricks and other materials. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as experience with various hand and power tools. The Brick Mason will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of construction projects.
Duties
- Construct, repair, and maintain brick structures such as walls, chimneys, and walkways.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and laying bricks.
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary for large-scale projects.
- Apply caulking and other materials to ensure proper sealing and insulation.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Education
Experience Required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in masonry work with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to masonry.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and materials used in masonry applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
Work Location – Travel to various locations
