Job Description
Nutra Services is seeking a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide on a part-time basis in Tavistock.
As a Housekeeper, you will be a vital part of our team, specializing in cleaning and commercial cleaning tasks. Your expertise in facilities maintenance and maintenance will ensure that our premises are well-kept and presentable. Reporting to the Environmental Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors. Job Duties Include:
- General housekeeping duties in the residence and common areas
- Cleaning carpets/ floors/ bathrooms
- Using specified cleaning / disinfecting / sanitizing agents, and following specific procedures, work patterns, and routines
- Perform tasks such as: Vacuuming, sweeping, dry / wet mopping, scrubbing, sanitizing / disinfecting floors; spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors between washing; dusting, emptying wastebaskets
- Daily cleaning and disinfecting all areas; cleaning floors, fixtures and furnishings in rooms, garbage and recycling collection and taking to designated area
- May also include heavy cleaning duties such as deep cleaning.
- LAUNDRY AIDE - duties include washing, drying, sorting and folding of all resident personal items.
Shift Time: 6:30am-2:00pm
Expected Hours: Part-time hours expected to be 15-22.5 hours per week
Education
Experience Required
Requirements Include:
- Mandatory TB, COVID Vaccination and Police Check
- One year of commercial cleaning experience is preferred
- One year of customer service experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Able to work on-site in Tavistock, ON
