Role: Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Location: Woodstock, ON

Role Overview: The WOMB is seeking a dedicated and passionate Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team! If you believe in our mission and values, have a passion for working with clients on their journey through fertility and pregnancy, and love working with babies and families as a whole, we would love to hear from you! 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide comprehensive and empowering care (in person and virtually) for people with a wide range of pelvic health concerns (women, men & children): 

 -incontinence

 -pelvic organ prolapse

 -pelvic pain or painful intercourse

 -chronic constipation

 -bedwetting

  • Work with our team to best prepare people for optimal birth and recovery to prevent pelvic health problems. 
  • Collaborate with all team members, including PTAs to ensure all clients have the complement of care to reach their goals. 
  • Attend quarterly WOMB team and physiotherapy team meetings 
  • Desire to receive ample mentorship and be a part of a rich circle of practice mentorship groups. 
  • Comply with all College of Physiotherapy standards including the maintenance complete and up to date clinical records

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

  • Registered to practise physiotherapy in Ontario
  • Passion for perinatal care and pelvic health
  • Minimum level 1& 2 pelvic health solutions courses (or equivalent) with committed to continued learning and professional development
  • Available to work in person on 3 or more of these shifts:

     - Mondays: 9:00am-5:00pm

     - Tuesdays: 3:30pm-8:00pm

     - Wednesdays: 3:30pm-8:30pm

     - Thursdays: 9:00am-8:00pm

     - Saturdays: 9:00am-5:00pm
