Job Description
Forvan Technology Services Inc. is seeking an Information Technology Support Technician. Located in Woodstock, Forvan provides a large number of tailored IT solutions for businesses in the area.
As an IT Support Technician, you will:
- Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computers
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
- Provide problem-solving services to network users
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
