Job Description
Cobble Hills Golf Course is currently hiring an individual to join our Turf Maintenance Team in the position of Turf Mower Operator for our 2025 season.
Core Responsibilities:
- General course maintenance duties include, but not limited to, the operation of a rough mower, utility vehicles and related equipment
- Other light duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday), possibly weekends if needed
Expected Hours: 30-40 per week (weather depending)
Start Date: Approx. April 15, 2025
Education
Experience Required
Requirements:
- Must be punctual
- Able to work early morning shifts (5am starts during summer months), weekends, holidays, when required
- Able to complete assigned tasks and work unsupervised
- Possess a valid Driver's License
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Knowledge of and appreciation for the game of golf is an asset
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Previous golf course or landscaping experience are beneficial, but not necessary
- CSA approved safety shoes/boots
- Mechanical understanding is beneficial, but not necessary
- Must be able to work from April 2025 to October 2025
