Overview of the Role
You'll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. Reporting to the Supervisor, Warehouse (Bulk) the Attendant, Warehouse II is responsible for supplying the packaging lines, receiving and shipping loads and handling bulk product in both skidded and 640 block format. Also, to include cleaning and other duties as assigned in accordance with the standards and safety objectives established by Senior Management of the company.
How you will make contributions that matter:
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and GMPs to ensure the highest quality product possible
- Supply materials in stock form, accurately to the packaging lines
- Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment manually or by using powered equipment
- Pick and restock film as per Packaging schedules
- Organize and consolidate packaging materials
- Use Maestro and SAP to accurately maintain inventory levels
- Shipping and receiving of product
- Safely and efficiently operate lift trucks to handle skidded product and 640 blocks
- Ensure safe conditions exist always within the work environment
- Be familiar with Health & Safety, HACCP, and company policies to ensure adherence
- Report quality, food safety, health and safety incidents (within or beyond their control) to appropriate departments as necessary.
Education
Experience Required
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
Sound communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
Must be self-motivated, results oriented and work well with minimal supervision.
Proficiency and dependability in current position.
Will hold, or be prepared to complete, forklift operator certification.
Strong team orientation.
Working knowledge of computers and related devices (SAP, Maestro, RF scanners, etc).
Ability to work shifts outside regular scheduled shift to assist with special projects such as audits, inventories, repairs, or for coverage as needed.
